How the solutions work
As much help as you want, no more
Every player gets the same levels in the same order, so each level here has exactly the digits and sums of the level in your app. You decide how much of it you see.
Find your level
Pick the difficulty and the number from the top of your game screen. Level 37 here is level 37 in the app.
One digit, one sum, one step
Tap a digit or a sum to see just that, or follow the logic one step at a time. Often one line is all it takes.
Or see the whole grid
The solved grid waits under a cover. Open it to check yours, or to finish a level you have had enough of.

FAQ
Questions about the solutions
Are these the same levels as in my app?
Yes. Beasties has fixed levels: every player gets the same grids in the same order. Chill level 37 on this page has exactly the digits and sums of Chill level 37 in your app.
How do I find the solution for my level?
The difficulty and the level number are at the top of the game screen. Pick the same difficulty here and tap the number, or type it into the jump box at the top of this page.
Can I see just one digit?
Yes. On every level page you can tap a single digit to see whether it stays or goes, or tap a sum to reveal that whole row or column. The rest stays hidden.
How does the step by step solution work?
It solves the level like a person would: each step takes one row, column or family and shows which digits its sum decides right now. In some Devilish levels a step is a “what if”: a digit is assumed and a sum breaks, so the opposite is true.
Do the solutions show sleeping sums?
Yes. Each level page shows the sums exactly as the app does, sleeping ones included. In the solution they wake up once their line is done.
What is the difference between the difficulties?
Chill has 4×4 and 5×5 grids with row and column sums. Normal has 6×6 grids, half of them with families. Tricky has 7×7 grids with sleeping sums. Devilish has 8×8 grids, and some need a “what if”.
Is looking up a solution cheating?
It is your game. One digit or one sum is often enough to get going again. If you would rather learn the tricks, the Number Bite guide shows four techniques with animations.
