Daily challenges

Three new puzzles every day

Every day Beasties picks three levels from three different games: one Normal, one Tricky and one Devilish. They are the same for every player, they bring bonus stars on top of the round, and each one stamps your season pass.

Today’s daily challenges

These are the three challenges in the app today, worked out from the date just like the app does it. Stuck on one? Each card links to the step-by-step solution of its level.

Worked out from the date like the app does, so it matches your iPhone's calendar day. New challenges at midnight.

How it works

Open, play, collect

The challenges have their own screen, reached from the card on the start screen. At first the three cards lie face down. Then they turn over one by one while the game pictures spin like a reel, Devilish last.

  1. Turn over. On your first visit of the day the cards turn over one by one, Devilish last.
  2. Play. A card opens its level straight in the game and brings you back here afterwards. Lost a round? Try again as often as you like.
  3. Solved. You keep the round’s stars and get the card’s bonus stars and stamps. The card is ticked off until tomorrow.

The levels come from beyond the 150 free ones, numbers 151 to 999. For free players that is a look at levels they haven’t opened yet, and Devilish is open to everyone on its card, no Pro needed.

New games

Not in the mood for a game? Swap all three

Before you start any of the day’s cards, you can swap all three games once for 30 stars. The difficulties stay, and the swap is the same for everyone too.

  1. Tap New games. It costs 30 stars and works once a day, as long as no card has been started.
  2. All three swap. The cards turn face down and come back with three other games. Normal, Tricky and Devilish stay where they are.
  3. Still the same for everyone. The swap is worked out from the date too, so friends who swap get the same new games.

Season pass

Stamps for the season pass

Under the cards sits the same pass line as on the start screen: the next reward and one segment per stamp still missing. Solve a card and its stamps fill the line.

  1. Next reward. On the left the next reward of the pass (here: Bat swarm), then one segment for each stamp it needs.
  2. Stamps fill it. Each solved card fills its stamps in the pass colour.
  3. Ready. Full line, gold picture with a red dot, Collect: tap it and the pass opens right there.

FAQ

Daily challenge questions

Are the daily challenges the same for everyone?

Yes. The games and levels depend only on the date, so you and your friends get the same three cards. New ones arrive at midnight on your iPhone.

What do I get for a daily challenge?

The stars of the round itself, plus bonus stars: 3 for Normal, 5 for Tricky and 8 for Devilish. On top of that, 1, 2 or 3 stamps for the season pass.

Can I play the Devilish challenge without Pro?

Yes. The Devilish card is open to every player. Pro opens all 999 Devilish levels in every game to play whenever you like.

Can I try a challenge again?

Yes, until you solve it. A solved card gets a big tick and stays done until the next day.

Can I change the games?

Once a day, before you start any card: New games swaps all three games for 30 stars. The difficulties stay the same.

Is there a streak I can lose?

No. There is no streak and nothing to lose. Missed days simply don’t give stamps, and the season pass leaves plenty of room for breaks.

Do the daily challenges need the internet?

No. Like everything in Beasties, they are worked out on your iPhone from the date, fully offline.
