Every player gets the same levels in the same order, so each board here is exactly the one in your app. You decide how much of the solution you see.

  1. Find your level

    Pick the difficulty and the number from the top of your game screen. Level 37 here is level 37 in the app.

  2. One monster at a time

    Tap Next monster: the board shows where it goes and why, from the cross-outs to the den with one spot left.

  3. Or see the whole board

    The full solution waits under a cover. Open it to check your board or to finish a level you have had enough of.

Questions about the solutions

Are these the same levels as in my app?

Yes. Beasties has fixed levels: every player gets the same boards in the same order. Chill level 37 on this page is exactly Chill level 37 in your app.

How do I find the solution for my level?

The difficulty and the level number are at the top of the game screen. Pick the same difficulty here and tap the number, or type it into the jump box at the top of this page.

Can I see just the next monster?

Yes. On every level page, each tap on Next monster places exactly one monster and shows why it goes there: which spots get crossed out first and which den, row or column has only one spot left.

My board already has monsters. Where do I continue?

Step through the solution until the board matches yours. The order is the one a person would find, so your monsters usually show up early. Rows count from the top, columns from the left.

Is there only one solution?

Yes. Every Dens level in Beasties has exactly one solution, and every page here was checked against the game rules: one monster per den, row and column, none touching.

What is the difference between Chill, Normal and Tricky?

Chill needs only the basics: a den or line with one spot left, and a den that fits into one row. Normal adds crowded spots, cells that would take the last room from a small den. Tricky asks you to think in groups of two or three dens that share as many rows or columns. Devilish goes further: sometimes you try a spot in your head and follow it to a dead end.

Is looking up a solution cheating?

It is your game. One monster with its reason often gets you going again, and you still solve the rest yourself. If you would rather learn the tricks, the Dens guide shows all six techniques with animations.
