How the solutions work

As much help as you want, no more

Every player gets the same levels and the same pieces in the same order, so each solution here starts exactly like the level in your app. It takes exactly the target number of pieces. You decide how much of it you see.

  1. Find your level

    Pick the difficulty and the number from the top of your game screen. Level 37 here is level 37 in the app.

  2. One piece at a time

    Tap Next piece and watch just that one piece land. Often one is all it takes to see the way again.

  3. Or watch it all

    Press play and the whole solution runs, row by row, until the last bit of fog is gone.

Questions about the solutions

Are these the same levels as in my app?

Yes. Beasties has fixed levels with a fixed queue of pieces: every player gets the same boards and the same pieces in the same order. Chill level 37 on this page starts exactly like Chill level 37 in your app.

How do I find the solution for my level?

The difficulty and the level number are at the top of the game screen. Pick the same difficulty here and tap the number, or type it into the jump box at the top of this page.

Will this solution get me three stars?

Yes. It needs exactly the level’s target, and three stars are yours for a few pieces more than that. It never lets Gnatz eat a tray, so no star is lost along the way.

What do left, middle and right mean?

The place of the piece in the tray. After every third piece the tray fills up again, so the list shows which three belong together.

How are rows and columns counted?

Rows from the top, columns from the left, 1 to 8. The move list names the cells the piece covers, and the player on each level page shows it on the board.

Can I see just the next piece?

Yes. The solution starts at the beginning, and each tap on Next piece places exactly one piece. Press play to watch the rest.

My board looks different from the start position.

The solution starts at the beginning of the level. Tap Restart in the app, and you get the start and the first three pieces again.

Is this the only solution?

No, most levels have several, and some can even be done with fewer pieces. The one here is the solution the target comes from, checked piece by piece with the game’s rules.

Is looking up a solution cheating?

It is your game. One piece often gets you going again, and you still solve the rest yourself. If you would rather learn to save pieces on your own, the Block Munch guide shows three habits with animations.
