How the solutions work
As much help as you want, no more
Every player gets the same levels in the same order, so each level here has exactly the board of the level in your app. You decide how much of the way you see.
Find your level
Pick the difficulty and the number from the top of your game screen. Level 37 here is level 37 in the app.
One swipe at a time
Step through the shortest way swipe by swipe, or paint the board yourself. Often one swipe is all it takes.
Or see the whole route
Under a cover, every stop is numbered in order. Open it to check your way, or to finish a level you have had enough of.

FAQ
Questions about the solutions
Are these the same levels as in my app?
Yes. Beasties has fixed levels: every player gets the same boards in the same order. Chill level 37 on this page is exactly Chill level 37 in your app.
How do I find the solution for my level?
The difficulty and the level number are at the top of the game screen. Pick the same difficulty here and tap the number, or type it into the jump box at the top of this page.
Can I see just the next swipe?
Yes. On every level page the solution starts at the beginning, and each tap on Next swipe shows exactly one. Press play to watch the rest.
Can I play the level on the page?
Yes. Switch to “Play it yourself” and swipe on the board, use the arrow keys or the buttons. The stars and moves work just like in the app.
Is this the shortest way?
Yes. Every solution here is checked with the rules of the app, and a search over all possible swipes confirms that no shorter way exists. That is the way to three stars.
My board looks different from the solution. Why?
The solution starts at the beginning of the level. If you have already swiped, restart the level in the app (it’s free) and follow from there.
What is the difference between the difficulties?
Chill has small boards (5×5 to 6×5) that take 6 to 10 swipes. Normal and Tricky boards are bigger, with fewer spare moves. Devilish boards go up to 8×8 and lose a star with every move past the shortest way.
Is looking up a solution cheating?
It is your game. One swipe is often enough to get going again. If you would rather find shorter ways yourself, the Paint Trail guide shows three habits with animations.
