How the solutions work

As much help as you want, no more

Every player gets the same levels in the same order, so each level here has exactly the pond, the rocks and the monsters of the level in your app. You decide how much of the way you see.

  1. Find your level

    Pick the difficulty and the number from the top of your game screen. Level 37 here is level 37 in the app.

  2. One tilt at a time

    Try the level on the board first. Stuck? Open the solution and step through it one tilt at a time. Often one is all it takes.

  3. Or watch the whole way

    Press play and the shortest way runs until every monster is home. It is always as short as the three-star target.

Questions about the solutions

Are these the same levels as in my app?

Yes. Beasties has fixed levels: every player gets the same ponds in the same order. Chill level 37 on this page has exactly the rocks, monsters and nests of Chill level 37 in your app.

How do I find the solution for my level?

The difficulty and the level number are at the top of the game screen. Pick the same difficulty here and tap the number, or type it into the jump box at the top of this page.

Can I try a level before I look?

Yes. Every level page has the pond to play on: swipe, use the arrow keys or the buttons. The solution stays covered until you open it.

Is the solution really the shortest?

Yes. Each solution is replayed with the game’s rules, and a full search checks that no shorter way exists. Follow it and you get three stars.

What is the difference between the difficulties?

Chill has two monsters on a small pond. Normal has three, Tricky three on a bigger pond with longer ways round, and Devilish four on the biggest pond, where a star falls with every extra move.

Is looking up a solution cheating?

It is your game. One tilt is often enough to see the way again. If you would rather learn the tricks, the Ice Slide guide shows them step by step.
