How the solutions work

As much help as you want, no more

Every player gets the same levels in the same order, so each board here is exactly the one in your app, and every solution is a shortest one. You decide how much of it you see.

  1. Find your level

    Pick the difficulty and the number from the top of your game screen. Level 37 here is level 37 in the app.

  2. Just the next colour

    Step through the solution one tap at a time. Often one colour is all it takes to see the way again.

  3. Or watch it all

    Press play and the slime swallows the board in the fewest moves possible, so all three stars stay yours.

FAQ

Questions about the solutions

Are these the same levels as in my app?

Yes. Beasties has fixed levels: every player gets the same boards in the same order. Chill level 37 on this page is exactly Chill level 37 in your app.

How do I find the solution for my level?

The difficulty and the level number are at the top of the game screen. Pick the same difficulty here and tap the number, or type it into the jump box at the top of this page.

Can I see just the next colour?

Yes. Open the solution on a level page and tap Next colour: the slime takes one step, nothing more. You can go back and forth as you like.

Can I play the level on this site?

Yes. Every level page has the board with its colour buttons, Undo and Restart, and counts your moves and stars just like the app.

Is every solution the shortest?

Yes. Each solution reaches the goal in exactly the target number of moves, so following it gives you all three stars. Other ways of the same length may exist.

Is looking up a solution cheating?

It is your game. One colour is often enough to see the way again. If you would rather learn the tricks, the Colour Gulp guide shows them step by step.
