Every player gets the same levels in the same order, so each level here has exactly the cages and sums of the level in your app. You decide how much of it you see.

  1. Find your level

    Pick the difficulty and the number from the top of your game screen. Level 37 here is level 37 in the app.

  2. Peek at one number

    Tap an empty cell and only that number appears. One is often all it takes to crack the next cage.

  3. Or see the whole grid

    The full solution waits under a cover. Open it to check your grid, or to finish a level you have had enough of.

Questions about the solutions

Are these the same levels as in my app?

Yes. Beasties has fixed levels: every player gets the same puzzles in the same order. Chill level 37 on this page has exactly the cages and sums of Chill level 37 in your app.

How do I find the solution for my level?

The difficulty and the level number are at the top of the game screen. Pick the same difficulty here and tap the number, or type it into the jump box at the top of this page.

Can I see just one number?

Yes. On every level page you can tap an empty cell to see only its number. The rest of the grid stays hidden until you open the full solution.

What does “you need” on a level page mean?

Each level lists the ideas that solve it, from cage combinations to the 45 rule across several rows. The rater of the app checked that these are enough, without guessing.

What is the difference between the difficulties?

Chill gives you 18 numbers and small cages. Normal gives hardly any numbers. Tricky gives none and asks for the 45 rule. Devilish has the biggest cages and needs sums across several rows.

Is looking up a solution cheating?

It is your game. One number is often enough to get going again. If you would rather learn the tricks, the Cage Sums guide shows them step by step.
